More than half of marijuana users are parents
Did you know? Marijuana is the most commonly used illegal drug in the United States, with approximately 22.2 million users each month! [CDC, 2021] According to the United Nations, 158.8 million people around the world use marijuana—more than 3.8% of the planet’s population and more 94 million people in the US have admitted using it at least once. That's nearly 1/3 of the US population.
Cannabis is clearly the solution for parenting, I would be remiss if I didn't admit that as a new mother of two toddler boys there were times I needed to relax. The United States can tend to have a very stressful culture about it, often working 40+ hours a week to sustain life unable to harness the present and healthcare systems that are still subpar. For centuries marijuana has aided in medicinal wellness practices. Why are our parents who are just trying to calm down being targeted and called illegal drug users?
